Monte’s Health Drinks Get out your Ninja
If you are using pineapple, you do not need to use oranges. Pineapple is also a good source of vitamin C and has a sweet, tropical flavor that pairs well with the other ingredients in the Monte Blend.
Monte Blend:
- 1 Red Apple
- 2 Bananas
- 1/2 Pineapple or 4 Oranges
- Many mint leaves
- 2-3 inches Ginger (Unpeeled & Sliced)
- 1/2 Cucumber
- 2 Celery Sticks
- 1 large Carrot (or 10-12 mini Carrots)
- 2 Cloves of Garlic
- 1/2 Cup Cranberry Juice (To Make drink less thick and Easier to drink)
- 1/2 Cup Prune Juice (To Make drink less thick and Easier to drink)
- 1/10 cup Raw Honey
- 1 cup Strawberry Yogurt
- 1/3 – 1/4 Bushel of Kale
Directions:
- Wash all the fruits, vegetables, and herbs well.
- Cut the red apple, pineapple or oranges, cucumber, and celery into smaller pieces for easy blending.
- Add all the ingredients into a blender, including the raw honey, cranberry juice, and prune juice.
- Blend until smooth and creamy.
- If the mixture is too thick, you can add more juice to achieve the desired consistency.
- Pour the mixture into 5-7 16-ounce containers and store them in the refrigerator.
- Drink one container of Monte Blend per day to reap the health benefits.
